Re: Letting the earlobe rest

@twosharks - My ears have always been very resistive. Even months after a stretch I couldn't leave them out for long. The massages have helped though but I definitely can't leave them out overnight.

@magalo - I can only imagine how uncomfortable that might be. maybe I get to find out some day :)

Re: Plugs not going in

After a hot shower, and use more lube. If you're doing that but have cheaper jewelry, then try a long metal taper with a concave end, and a straight plug with a rounded end so there's no break between taper and plug. If you're already doing that then you've got a choice. Try teflon taping , or just ...

Re: Stretching from 18g

I am doing oil massages twice a day actually. Not so much the saline. I did the saline the firt couple of days and that was it. I am definitelly giving it plenty of time this time around. I want to make sure the process is done right. I am usually impatient but I am definitely going to be patient ...

Re: Letting the earlobe rest

Well I guess I answer this to myself :)

I have been taking them out to massage my lobes ( I use Vitamin E oil) and then let them rest. My lobes get nice and warn from the bloodflow, its actually kinda cool. I tried yesterday to see how long I could go with the plugs out and I managed two hours and ...

Re: Just started stretching, need some help!

Going straight to 14 is not a good idea. It is doable ( I did it with my 10 year old piercing) but it hurt like hell, my ear was swollen for days, etc. My other ear, I did it right and started at 18 (not counting my original piercing).

As per it closing up, my ears closed right back up to regular ...

Letting the earlobe rest

Per the Guide :"... simply take your jewelry off for a few hours each day."

If I take my earrings/plugs out for more than a few minutes they shrink, forcing me to wear a size smaller for a bit. So, should I take it out a few minutes at a time? Or should I then take the 10g out for say an hour and ...

Stretching from 18g

I started stretching, slowly, from 18g a couple of years back. After 8g I started using tape to stretch rather than using tapers. It worked well until I was at 6g going to 4g. It bled a bit so I took the tape off, went back to 6g for a month tried again and it worked well. I made it to 4g. After ...

Hola!

New to stretching (sort of) and looking to keep going. I say sort of because I was already at a size 4 then lost one plug the day I left on a trip for work. Long story short had to start from 18g again. They stretched quickly but when I got to 6g again my right ear wasn't ready so now I am letting ...
