Re: So, what other piercings do you have/want?
Only other stretched piercing I have is my septum, which is currently at a 6g but I plan on going to about a 2 or 0. I have my lip pierced, and retired labret, conch and tongue.

Re: Is it alright to shower with plugs in?
I definitely wouldn't shower with wood plugs in, but that should be pretty obvious. Stone and stuff like that seems like it would be fine, but I'm not sure. I usually like to take my plugs out when I shower anyway though, just to give my lobes a little rest and let some blood flow.

Re: Small tear at 1 inch.
No actually mine is more towards the bottom of the lobe. I'm pretty sure it happened when I foolishly tried to stretch with my externally threaded flesh tunnels. Sea salt soaks seem to be the best option for what happened to me, but if you don't have a cut and it's just sore around the cartilage, it ...

Re: I'm at 5/8". Now what?
Does wearing a weight through a tunnel cause uneven pressure? I used to hook masterlocks through my steel tunnels sometimes to put a little weight onto my ears. It seems like if you wore a tunnel, the weight would be a little more evenly distributed.

Re: Small tear at 1 inch.
Seems the problem has resolved itself to an extent. I did a couple sea salt soaks yesterday and when I woke up this morning my ear wasn't soar at all. If I push on the lobe where the cut was, I can feel it, but it's not anywhere near as painful or sore as it was the last couple days. I'll probably ...

Small tear at 1 inch.
So I've been stretching my lobes for many years now. A couple years ago I stopped at 3/4" and took them out and let them close. They shrank down to about a 00. I restretched them pretty recently and a few days ago I reached my goal of 1 inch (25mm). I always took my time and have very little scar ...

Good point about the threading, I should have mentioned that.

Re: Post Earring for 6 months??
Listen to your body. If your ears don't feel overly sore, you should be fine to put something new in there. I'd suggest a circular barbell rather than a captive, because the balls can be very hard to put in on captives and you could really hurt yourself, especially if you're trying to get it in a ...

Re: Do you face such problems after stretching?
This is very normal. In fact, most people I see at bigger sizes have some sort of what I like to call the "dumbo effect". I'm currently at 1 inch, and the only jewelry that doesn't cause my earlobes to stick out is very heavy stuff. Try that, or downsize if it really bothers. Either way, it's a ...
