Re: Double Flares for 8g
Take a look at glass plugs they come in all kinds of colors and shapes. Pretty nice usually and are 100% for fresh stretches. They are usually more expensive than metal ones and definitely more so than acrylic but they are high quality and a very aesthetically pleasing compared to metal ones and ...

Re: Double Flares for 8g
I definitely wasn't planning on putting them in immediately. I was thinking about waiting for at least a month before trying. I'm planning on staying at 8g for a while, so I guess I'll need to find something else. Thanks.

Double Flares for 8g
So I've been at 10g for almost two months and I'm about to get a 8g stretching kit from bodyartforms. They also have these double flares I think are really nice and affordable. http://www.bodyartforms.com/productdetails.asp?jewelry=plugs&gauge=8g&ProductID=8585&index=7

Re: dead stretching?
I've been stretching without tapers from 16G to 10G. I might end of getting tapers eventually, but it hasn't been a problem for me. I usually wait about 2 months until my ear is used to the size and usually the next size goes in pretty easily. If not, I wait a little longer. I'll probably use tapers ...

Re: Help, lost an O-Ring!
I'm having a really hard time keeping trap of o-rings and I don't know why. It's getting a bit annoying because I have some 14g o-rings, but I'm having trouble getting them on the 12g single flared plugs I got in the mail yesterday. What do you recommend?

Re: Going straight to a 12
Thanks! I think I'm going to go with these http://www.bodyartforms.com/productdetails.asp?jewelry=plugs&gauge=14g&ProductID=1199&index=8. They're steel plugs with no flare.

Re: Going straight to a 12
No problem Cymlee. Just remember to wait about 2 months after going up after 14G, ear stretching is not a contest, it shouldn't hurt and requires patience ;)

Re: Ear Stretching Guide- Read First!
Hey Guys,
I'm working on an article about ear stretching and I was wondering if anyone knew about the history of it. Can anyone be a primary source for this? I just had a few questions that I was hoping someone could answer.
Where did ear stretching originate and why was it done?
Is ear ...

There's no discomfort whatsoever. A month seems pretty reasonable. Thanks for the all your help.
