Just got my first blowout lol

Hey everybody. I haven't been too active on the forums lately. Just been stretching slow like usual without any problems...until now...lol. So I've been waiting 2 months between stretches using tapers. I've been really responsible, my ears were healthy, blah blah blah.

I was at 4g for two months up ...

Re: O-ring going inside earlobe?

Your ear can get really irritated and inflamed if you can't get it out soon enough  . There's tons of alternatives. A lot of good options have been mentioned in the thread already or you could find some jewelry that doesn't require plugs to stay snug. Good luck!

Getting sore, painful lobes from sleeping in a bad position

Does this happen to anyone else? My right ear is my stubborn one but it's taken to my latest stretch quite nicely with no problems. My left one, however, is sore and painful after last night. After my latest stretch to 8g, my left ear had no problems but I woke up today to find it in pain. I'm ...

I HATE MY RIGHT EAR!

Okay, now that I got my frustration out of the way there lol, I just popped in my 8g taper followed by my 8g plug into my left lobe. It went in like "Hmm, this is a little bigger than what I'm used to but whatever." Then I try to do the same thing with my right ear and he's all like "NOOOOOO!!! I ...

Re: Using Plastic Wrap for Ear Taping?

I could see it not being able to hold it's strength very well and it might be really frustrating to keep it evenly layered around your jewelry. I use PTFE tape at small sizes and it's so cheap that I don't see why anyone would have to look for a cheaper alternative.

Is it weird that I never get ear cheese or gunk anymore?

When I first started stretching the ear cheese was always there. I haven't gotten any gooey stuff on my plugs since I started and that was two sizes ago!

Re: What do you use to lubricate before inserting a plug/taper?

Yeah I think I'm just going to stick with my current routine using personal lubricant and forgoing the oil and massages.

I'm just so surprised how much difference a little bit of lube makes when inserting jewelry. My plugs feel so tight if I don't put any on and they go in like a hot knife through ...
