I do order online, I order from a shop called BodyJewelleryShop.com because they're one of the only places I've been able to find that have decent hoops with decent clasping mechanisms. I'm just surprised they don't have anything larger than a 14.
And yes...my previous earrings have been a struggle ...

Darn. Like I said, the shop I get my stuff from doesn't have anything larger than a 14 gauge. I might just have to get a couple 14 gauge stretching crescents and hope they work. :-\

Hi all,
I got my lobes pierced about 6 years ago at the mall with a piercing gun, so I assume that my current size is either an 18 or 20 gauge.
I have a pair of 2.0-mm rings that I want to use, so I'm looking to stretch slightly.
Is it a bad idea to go straight to 12 gauge using tapers? I know ...
