I want to tape my plug to 0g (it's a 2g), I was wondering how many layers of teflon tape will it take to get there? Can I add two layers ever 3-4 days like I'm doing?

2 weeks is not long enough to wait. If you really dont want this to happen again go down a size, or even 2, and wait the better of 2 months. Yeah its a long time compared to 2 weeks but this wait will ensure your ears dont look like a bomb field and youll for sure be ready to move up agian ...
