Depending on the person newly gaged ears take a month or two to heal, I would reccomed keeping the tapers in that long, the weight of the tapers will cause your ear holes to increase barely even more in size , so after a month or two take them out and the plug should definitely fit, but do NOT put ...

So I have had 6 Gage tapers in my ears for a few months now but the wait has opened my ears wider than when they were first gaged, I want to put in 4 Gage single flares in but
I don't know if I should put tapers in first, would it be okay to skip 4 Gage
