LOL!! there really is no secret. just make sure you have a gauge card on hand and do lots if reading up on the material your working with. makes it a lot easier to decide the best way to make em. I've been making mine out of antler and bone for a while now. really easy to work with, the smell is horrible though.:( I use a dremel and a million different bits. and of course you gotta find a way to seal them. you'll have to do that with most organics especially wood otherwise they will swell and splinter. ouch!!! :shock: organics are about the easiest to work with. when you get into stone you'll need a lot of special tools and equipment, so I'd recommend wood, horn, and bone for beginners.(Not sure if its true but I've heard) you have to be careful of certain woods. they can make you sick. hope I helped. :mrgreen:
