It's pretty normal to have your ears heal at different rates;you'll likely find that when you do start stretching them,they'll do that too,or you'll have a 'difficult ear',meaning that the one will stretch more easily than the other.That's what most will seem to experience(for me it's my right). But since it's been a month since the intitial piercing, maybe it'd be worth asking your piercer to change them because they're too short. It's been 20 years since I got my ears initially pierced,so I don't know if I'm remembering correctly,but I think I remember something about it was ok to change them after 6 weeks or something,but I could be remembering wrong,so your piercer could answer that better.
