I was bored yesterday and decided i wanted to make some plugs. I got a small branch from my tree that had fallen, then sawed off a small section for a plug. I then sanded it down to make it smooth, cleaned it with alcohol, and wrapped it with PTFE tape in the middle because my ears havent fully healed from my last stretch. I was wondering if these plugs are safe, the PTFE seems to get really clear and u can see the wood and im kinda scared to put them in for fear of infection. Are they safe? Has anyone else made plugs?
