Hi, So i've never had pierced ears and have become interested in getting them done. I went to a piercing shop yesterday and looked at some things and what I wanted is a 6 gauge. what do you think of starting fresh at 6? what are the pro's and con's of just starting at a 6 as opposed to somthing smaller and than stretching? are there longer term side affects from starting at a 6? I dont plan to stretch past a 6. thank you for your advice :)

Yes, you can absolutely get pierced at 6G! Just make sure you find a good piercer.

The only thing is, if you get pierced at a larger gauge they're less likely to shrink if you decide to take them out.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!
