Hi, im 18 i just started to stretch my ears. i had the original 20g or maybe 18g. i started with 12g on friday. the next day i put in 10g on that night i put in size 8g. i did not mind the pain. it stoped after a minute. i feel so stupid. now when i take them off the hole bleeds. What should i do? should i take it off or what? please tell me what to do.

Yeah, that's waaay too fast... you probably don't want to hear this, but you need to downsize back to where you started. Treat it like a new piercing, and do sea salt soaks once or twice a day (mix 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of sea salt with one cup of hot water) and don't mess with it. Then in a few months, when it's fully healed and loosened up enough to start stretching, you can move on to the next size, which will be 16G, not 12G.
Stretching is all about patience. You really should be waiting about 6-8 weeks between every size and it should never bleed or be too painful. If you get a lot of pain or if your lobe simply feels like it does not want to stretch, stop and wait a few more weeks.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

Never use rubbing alcohol on a piercing; it's way too harsh and can dry everything out and destroy healthy cells. Sea salt soaks are the best form of aftercare, just make sure you're not using too much salt in the water. Soak your lobes in the solution for 5-10 minutes a day and you'll see an improvement. You can get sea salt in any grocery store for like $2.50.

I compeletely agree with corazon_de_oro, you stretched way, way too fast.

You should leave at least 6 weeks between each size.

Hold your lobe in the Salt Water for about 10 minutes each, just make sure it's not too hot :)

Put it in a glass and dip your lobe in it, or tilt it so the warm water completely covers the piercing. Then hold it for 10 minutes.

Do you have any excess skin hanging out of the holes?
Cause you could have a blowout! Which means you'd need to either:
have the skin removed (surgically)
or take your jewellery out completely to let them
heal!
Sorry if this is all too late
good luck!
