How long do I wait before stretching?

About 2 weeks ago I got my ears gauged to a 10g. I was wondering exactly how long I have to wait until I can stretch to an 8g?

I'm a bit confused, did you get them pierced to 10g? If that's the case, around 6 months is when they should be healed enough to stretch.

If you've been stretching and just went up to 10g, 6-8 weeks is the recomended time to wait.
