For your ear stretching? Pretty new at stretching, I mean I did months of research before actually starting and started around 3 months ago I'm currently at 12g. I've heard people use anti-bacterial soap, oils and other things. Just wanted to see what every one prefers since I'm stretching again soon and think I might need some lube for the first time. thank you!

I use Durex lubricant it is on water based and it's fine for me. I think it's should be on water base becouse it not remains nothing after use.

I don't use water-based lube because it made the plug I inserted after stretching STICK! It was bad. I use emu oil.

Jojoba oil.

You should also stretch right after a long and hot shower so it softens your ear and improves the elasticity.

Emu oil! Jojoba is also good if the idea of emu oil grosses you out, haha.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

It is gross seeming at first. But I figure I eat meat and wear leather, not a big difference. It doesn't smell and helps heal super fast.

There are grosser things, like petroleum jelly, which is a byproduct of oil refining.

I use jojoba regularly too, and I like to use it on my body after showering. I am not a fan of vitamin e oil because it is so tacky. I have heard of people mixing jojoba and e oil together and having great results.

I take a vitamin e supliment daily too, it is good for skin that way too.

Yeah, I love emu oil. I was always afraid to use it because I've heard people say it stinks but to me it doesn't really have a smell at all. I prefer vitamin E oil for massages because it breaks down scar tissue, but I've always thought it was a little too thick to use as stretching lube. Probably because I just squeeze it out of the pills and don't buy the actual oil.
