is it just me or is the stretch from 00 to 7/16 nothing?

Discuss all things ear stretching

I bought some 7/16 tapers the other day and put em next to my old tapers for 00g and they were almost the same. 7/16 was barely bigger, it was kind of a waste of money. They just slid in. Is the stretch to a half inch from 7/16 big?

ahh that sucks! for that size i just got silicon plugs and popped those in, that took care of that, then basically 7/16" is almost 1/2" so that stretch was easy too.

if i were you, i would put back the 7/16" plugs and wait for them to heal!..you just stretched them, even though it was an easy stretch give it some time before you do the process again

It's not a waste of money... stretches aren't supposed to be that difficult if you give your ears enough time between them. Even though the stretch was easy you should've left your lobe at 7/16 for six weeks before moving on. The pain and swelling is your body's way of telling you that that skin wasn't ready to stretch.
Every 1/16" is equal to about 1 mm, which is the amount you should be stretching.
Like the other person said, downsize at least back to 7/16 and wait six weeks or so.
I'm Lindsay.
I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

i would advise not stretching with silicon plugs. no matter how big or small the stretch is.
if you have any qustions on streching, PM me and i will help you out.

also, i know of a site that has dirt cheap, good quality plugs.

hit me up.
