2nd Gauge Questions

Discuss all things ear stretching

I have two 0g for my primary gauges, and recently gauged my second piercings to 4g. All I have for 4g jewelry is a pair of double-flares, and I've been trying to get them in (with obvious difficulty.) My single-flares are on order and won't be here for a minute. First and foremost, does anyone have any tips on getting these double-flares in (i'm sick of these tapers.) Also, anything I should know about having two gauges in one ear? Thanks!

Best bet is to put one end in and pull your lobe down and work the flair throufh in a circular motion...as far as the 2nd hole if you go to big they might push on eachother and cause discomfort...I have 5/8 in my primary holes and had 00g's in my second and third...eventually I had to downsize my second hole to a 2 and let my third hole down to a 14...you have to listen to your body
Left- lobe-1"
Cartilage-00g and 6g
Industrial
Right- lobe- 1"
Cartilage- 0g
Snakebites, tongue, wrist
