Piercing not centered, but I've already started stretching

Discuss all things ear stretching

Yeah, but I don't think that's why I'm thinning, my other ear looks quite healthy to me:

Well, it probably is just thin because of the placement... but since you're at 7/16" it's probably too late to change it. Your lobe looks pretty red, though.
Seriously, you stretched like 9 or 10mm in two months; that is NOT a good idea. That's like one stretch every week! Slow down so your lobes don't turn into a mess of scar tissue if they aren't already.

I have 1/2" lobes and 11 piercings: left helix x2, both conches, both nostrils, septum, navel, and VCH.
My lobes are small but I know a lot about stretching and how to do it safely, so message me if you have any questions!

I agree with Corazon and Hardware, you're stretching way, way too fast!

Yeah you guys are right and if I continue stretching I'm going to slow it down considerably. I sized down to 00 and have been taking them out at night, hopefully they thicken a bit. Still, I am confused as to what I should do about the placement, I'm afraid if I scalpel it'll still get thinner.

Hmm, I don't know much about scalpeling if I'm honest, have you spoken to a piercer about the placement and thinning?

I have a friend that scalpelled his lobe from 12 mm to 25 mm. That's a huge jump, and now he's at 38 mm. His lobes are thinning, he planned to have 50 mm but he can't. But if you're not planning to have 3 inches lobes I think scalpelling is ok.
1 inch lobes, madison microdermal 16/07/10 and venoms 2/07/11.

I haven't talked specifics yet, but I called the piercing parlor and they said they might do scalpelling, so I'm going to go in to discuss it soon, I'll let you guys know how it goes, and thanks for all your input! ;)

Scalpelling would definitely correct it, just be prepared for your ear to stretch on its own a lot afterwards.
