Did you just recently stretch? If so you may have tore something and might want to consider sizing down. If it is not a recent stretch I would suggest getting some silicone plugs. Silicone is all I wear in the winter to keep my ears from freezing off.

Ya gotta think, though your ear may have the same amount of skin on it, it's displaced. So the lesser of your ear when outside in the cold does just that, gets colder faster. I've done the same thing, it is not a good idea to wear any kind of metal during the cold months!

Hope that helped lol

mhm my ears are at 7/8ths and during the winter they get cold. i usually try and use plugs that dont show your "open hole" hehe and a beanie you just gotta find one that can cover those lobes. also make sure you are puttin oil on them to keep them from getting all dry.

Eh, regardless of recently stretching or not. The metal in the tunnels obviously get cold faster and the bottom part of your ear has less body temp to "feed" off of. So as Ollie from Family Guy says..

IT'S GON' GET COLD.

lol just wanted to say that.
